 UPCOMING EVENTS

NO RALLIES ARE SCHEDULED. WE ARE WORKING ON LEGAL CASES.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT. Please CONTACT US at [email protected] for info.

Instead of plea bargaining we urge you to challenge the state's authority to continue arresting people
since the state found in 1977 that "scientific evidence clearly shows no signifcant harm or no harm at all from
marijuana use." This is why New York State was the first state to decriminalize it. Constitutional law requires
that the state show compelling state interest to continue criminal sanctions but they have failed to do so.

Yet, criminal sanctions continue and millions of New Yorkers are affected by this unlawful unwarranted costly
prohibition of the wonderful cannabis hemp plant and we need to support each other at the courthouse!
This is why, members of NYCAMP filed a federal suit against NYS lawmakers in February, 2010, which is now
in the NYS Federal Appellate Court.

NYCAMP will continue its almost daily stand at the New York State Capitol or in the courts demanding a redress of grievances
from the Governor and the Attorney General to end the unconstitutional prohibition of cannabis hemp in NYS!

We want the arrests to stop, the non violent prisoners released, their children returned, records expunged and cannabis prohibition ended.
This will save the state millions (that's their surplus) AND make the people of New York million$(as is their right).

If you want to show support call Governor Paterson at 518 474 8390 and tell him we are representing your rights and to please give us a redress.
